This world is moving in the opposite direction that can be understood by humans.

Human confusion is much greater now than 2000 years ago.

At that time, the philosophers, such as Laozi, Confucius, Buddha, and Christ, all had incredibly clear perspectives and judgments about this world.

Euclidean geometry has also systematically summarized almost all the mathematics that can be used in urban and rural areas.

And today, we find ourselves so ignorant of the universe and the world, whether it’s on a macro or micro level, whether it’s in terms of mathematics or physics.

In Galileo’s “The Assayer,” published in 1623, he declared that the universe is written in the language of mathematics. This seemed to open the door to the secrets of heaven for humanity.

Subsequently, the Analytic Geometry of Descartes and Fermat combined logic, geometry, and algebra, laying the foundation for Calculus. Then Sir Isaac Newton seemed to completely explain the mysteries of celestial motion, while Maxwell’s four partial differential equations revealed the inner workings of electromagnetism.

The founding of classical physics was humanity’s first true access to the code given by God. The ancient religious philosophers were always ready to retire because high school textbooks had overtaken them.

However, things did not happen that way.

Euclid’s mysterious fifth postulate opened the door to non-Euclidean geometry for Lobachevsky, Riemann and others 2000 years later, ultimately unleashing the monster known as “general relativity”.

The breaking of the absolute view of time and space, time slows down due to speed, and space is curved: this eerie theory finally exceeds the capacity of a normal person’s brain.

Anyway, general relativity is still based on wonderful geometry, which is barely acceptable for the top 1% of human intelligence.

But with the birth and improvement of the great demon “quantum mechanics”, finally 99.99999999% of people, including Einstein, could no longer understand the practical meaning represented by these mathematical formulas.

When string theory and M-theory emerged, mathematics far exceeded the physical world that humans could imagine. Themes such as parallel universes and dimensionality reduction have become new subjects in science fiction.

The vast universe is expanding at superluminal speeds, and what was once thought to be indivisible atoms have actually been split into fundamental particles such as fermions and bosons, even dancing strings. Empty space is no longer empty, but filled with dark matter, dark energy, and various clouds from wave function probability theory.

Our current compulsory education and even general higher education dare not touch on these topics, because the teachers themselves do not understand. The task of popularizing knowledge has been entrusted to reporters and genius copywriters.

Foolish humans are beginning to try to return to Lao Tzu, Buddha, and Christ while selectively turning a blind eye to new science. They would rather believe in the theories of Lao Tzu and Rinpoche as being all-encompassing theories.

Humanity has pursued the concept of “simplicity is beauty” for thousands of years, because the human brain fundamentally lacks the ability to analyze complex variable systems.

The various aesthetics that have been passed down for centuries in the game of Go are the essence of human simplification of cultural thought. However, they were ultimately shattered by the probability theory of Alpha Go.

All kinds of success theories and motivational teachings make you believe that a single variable or individual factor can make you soar to great heights. It is only when you have hit your head and blood is flowing that you casually seek another variable to conceal your disappointment.

Stock analysis and forecasts are the most popular because they soothe people’s simple minds, even if these explanations are hindsight or simply nonsense.

Economists often play a similar role, except that their theories comfort the elite. Humans always desire the ability to predict the future, but economists have been relatively unsuccessful in this regard.

The trade war and an increasingly chaotic global landscape, coupled with the emergence of various forms of artificial intelligence, may signal the second law of thermodynamics, alerting us that the world is not as we perceive it to be.

Medicine is probably one of the more outdated “sciences,” and the causes of most of our illnesses are complex. The vast majority of people cannot distinguish between taking medication and self-healing, while modern practical medicine is nothing more than statistical analysis of large samples.

Foolish human beings would rather believe in all sorts of gurus and ancient philosophers than believe in probability.

Every year people spend billions of dollars on skincare products, futilely attempting to reverse the aging clock written in their genes.

Although humans have explored silicon-based chips to the nanoscale level, they still lack the capability to create a carbon-based paramecium at the micron level. This has prevented the real journey of medical progress from beginning.

Is it true that logic, probability, and algorithms are what you can rely on?

Smart people plan the most profitable path and persistently follow it. However, most people give up halfway, some because of bad luck in the first half, some because of emotional breakdown, some because of changing their judgments midway… Those who persist and make it to the end become legends, and their quotes are widely spread.

The world and science are no longer something that can be understood by those of us with limited intelligence. Those who can comprehend 19th century mathematics are already geniuses on Earth. Attempting to understand it actually increases the possibility of being brainwashed, as the human brain tends to accept simplified explanations. Luck in flying to the sky is not something that every pig has, as luck is not even something that exists in mathematics.

Why did God design a system that is so complex and inevitably becoming more and more uncontrollable and incomprehensible to us?

Looking at the debates among the world’s most intelligent minds on the “Copenhagen Interpretation,” I am increasingly convinced that we are all just particles living in a low-dimensional world.

So, will this dark article have a bright ending?

The answer is yes.

Since we cannot understand this complex system, then go ahead and do what you love: love the people you love, do the work you love, eat the food you love, buy the things you love, invest in the companies (stocks) you love…

The substances and energy that make up our bodies will eventually decompose and return to the universe. However, “information” seems to transcend time and space. This was the original intention behind writing this vague text - at the very least, it can become bytes and travel through the future.
